Petula “Peaches” Jenkins Berry was born on December 8, 1966, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Peaches the youngest daughter of Lem Sr. and Comisher Jenkins. Peaches was smart, outgoing and very energetic. She departed this life on March 17, 2026, with her favorite guy (her husband) by her side. Along with family.
Peaches was truly loved by all who knew her and were in her presence. She lit up any room that she walked into. You rarely caught her without a hat and a smile. And those red lips. Peaches loved Bingo, playing cards, shopping, singing and praising Her Lord Jesus Christ. Peaches will always be remembered for her angelic voice. Peaches would sing at weddings, parties wherever or whenever she was needed. Peaches mainly loved singing to her Savior, she was a dedicated member at Word of Deliverance, where she sang in the choir. Peaches was a devoted member of The Word until her health began to decline. She loved her church and her Pastor, Bishop Bobby Hilton.
Peaches was a hard worker at TJ Maxx, Gold Circle and Christ Hospital. Family was everything to Peaches, she was devoted: wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend.
Peaches is preceded in death by her parents Lem Jenkins Sr, Comisher Jenkins, sister Deborah Jenkins and brother Latonia Jenkins.
Peaches leaves to cherish her memory: husband (almost 38 years of marriage) Tyrone Berry Sr, her pride and joy, her sons: Tyrone Berry Jr, and Anthony Berry Sr., her greatest delight, her three grandsons: Tyrone Berry III, Tyrell Berry and Anthony Berry Jr., her Mother In-Law, Annie Berry- Cosby, her siblings: Cy (Barbara), Lem Jr, (Gloria), Dolly (Michael), Christine (Keenan), Donna (Marcus), Reggie (Linda), sisters in law: Tracy Berry, Teresa Cosby, brother in law David Hall, nieces and nephews: Lem III, Nora, Comisher Mickey, Andrea, Brielle, Charles, Ronnell, LaDonna, Stephanie, Cornell, Tara, Cywindham, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and great friends.
