I didn't know the family. However, after viewing this video, I feel as if I know this lady. We, as women, should pattern our lives after her. She appears to have been a loving, caring, strong woman with a sense of family and God. To the family, God loves you and so do I.

I was able to meet Lillian by phone last year and this year and hear some wonderful stories. She told me how much she liked the Salmon from out here in the Pacific NW so I was able to send her some and she enjoyed it. She was one of the few remaining links to our storied past linked to Ed and Fannie Mae as a Mahan family and I do appreciate the phone conversations we had, and the stories of her trips to Milwaukee and the Mahan family reunions of years past. I truly regret not meeting her face to face. Cort Mahan
