I knew her while I was a GI fellow at UC and even us fellows whom no one had to ever give the time of day to; she treated us with love and respect. Will forever miss her smile, her spirit, her heart for people. She was so good to patients. I cannot imagine what her family has been going through these last few weeks. There are no words to explain how wonderful Nikka was. She always had a kind word and a warm smile. I called Nikka my work sunshine and every time I would end a call with her I would tell I wish we could clone a 100 more of you. She would laugh and say there is just one of me. I know the Lord has welcomed her with open arms because she was a good and faithful servant. My heart breaks for he family. She loved on every person she met and was a joy to behold.
