I pray that God gives the Moon Family the Strength, Love, Peace and Understanding that's needed during your time of bereavement. Rick and I met in the 70's in Athens, GA and were united1977. Although I lives traveled in different we remained friends. May God keep his hedge of protection around each of you as you travel through this life. By the way, the photos were right on point. I just happpened upon Rick's death by surfing the web and am still is in utter shock. You guys did a great job!!!....God Bless....B. G. Moon

I am so sorry to hear of Ricky's passing. I loved him dearly, We are such a big family--first cousins all over the place--but Ricky and I grew up together. Our families spent holidays together, us kids running around the yard on Wayne Avenue. We set off firecrackers on the 4th of July; played croquet on Labor Day; ate a delicious meal either Joe or Pearl cooked (they both could throw down!) on Thanksgiving. He was just a few years younger than me, but when we were kids it seemed like he was such a little baby and Stephanie and I would shoo him away because we were so grown. :) As the years passed, our lives took different turns but he made sure to look in on my Mom when he could and always kept in touch with me. No matter what, I always believed in him. I always knew he would get where he needed to be..I hadn't spoken to him in a few years, and I regret that, but I know his heart was his ticket into heaven and I know he lives with the Lord. God bless his children, grands and great-grands. God give peace to all who loved him. Rest easy Ricky. You'll forever be in my heart. Love, Your cousin Pam
