Lit a candle in memory of Florence Mae Snell
So many fond memories, so little space: holidays, birthdays, monkey bread, photos, smiles, laughter, prayer, advice, history, warmth, sincerity, and love. Those things all come to mind when we think of Mother Snell. She’s been a blessing and wealth of encouragement to so many of us. She greeted with a smile on her face and a hug in her arms.
Those moments will be cherished forever as she will be missed.

Not only was Mrs. Snell a neighbor on Wabash, she was a Great Teacher. She was very helpful to me during my early years of teaching. Janada and Lynn, you took good care of your Mother. May she Rest in Heaven!
Sorry for your loss. Prayers out to the family.
I worked with her at Lincoln Heights in the 70's. She had a sweet spirit that would make you smile in her presence.

Mrs. Snell was the sweetest and most caring teacher. I can remember being in the first grade, and her teaching me how to read. Her kindness was infectious and she was one of the main reasons why I am a teacher today!
Mrs. Snell was 1 of my favorite teachers at Lincoln Heights. She was so sweet and compassionate and her smile always made you feel Welcome. My deepest condolences to her family and extended family.

Mrs. Snell left an indelible impression on the minds and hearts of many young students at Lincoln Heights Elementary School. She was a definite pioneer among the GREAT educators of her era. What an awesome legacy she left during her tenure. I am saddened by your loss. May God continue to strengthen your hearts.
What can I say, Ms. Snell, I remember you as my kindergarten teacher and I didn’t like white milk, my mother sent me to school with a box of NestleQuick and you would always come up to me and open my milk and mix it up for me. You were a great lady and teacher and the world will not be the same without you. R.I.P.
Ms. Snell was a awesome teacher and truly will be miss. Rest in heaven and may GOD bless you.
