I spent so much of my summers and weekends at Gran's house that we should just say it was my 2nd home when I was a kid!!! We all know that no one lives forever here on Earth and I feel really bad that I wasn't able to pay my RESPECTS. She was a wonderfully witty woman but she DIDN'T PLAY!!! My life is so much better having had her to share moment with!!! REST PEACEFULLY IN HEAVEN SWEET LADY!!! Marie

Yael Yisrael lit a candle for my Great-Grandmother, "Grand". "Grand" what a bright light you were, full of love and wisdom. I am blessed to have been able to be in the midst of your greatness. I will miss your body, yet may your beautiful spirit continue to live with YAH. I LOVE YOU! R.I.P.

Gran has a strong faith in the Lord. She reverence his presence and humbly feared him. As Jesus helped many as he traveled along the road, Gran helped many who came to her in time of need. The love of Christ was manifested in her works. She was a laborer of the harvest.

My condolences to the entire family. She was such a wise lady and I will always remember her with a smile. She had so many witty sayings that you just don't hear from people today. She was old school to the max and everyone loved her for it. I am sure the first thing she heard was WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT! COME ON IN!! Love you all, Carmen Whitehead Broomfield
