I met the Doc during the 80s, at the Pleasant Run Community Basketball League. My son Justin, and his son Brian, played on the same team. Later, Justin and my other son Brandon, became his patients. Dr. Turner was definitely a rarity, being black, with a dental practice. He was truly an affable and gregarious person. But what captured me mostly about the Doc, was his ebullient smile, one that stretches a mile. But, my most vivid memory of Dr. Turner, was how he assisted me medically, during one our son's basketball games. I had gone to the bathroom, because I wasn't feeling well. I had a stomach episode. Someone had alerted my wife and oldest son, and Dr. Turner had come into the bathroom with them. Being a dentist, I guess he used his medical skills to assist my wife in my dire situation. I lost a tremendous amount of blood and had begun to lose consciousness. He leveled everything out, until the EMS had arrived. I'll always be indebted for his presence, and his actions on that night. He was a blessings. Our blessings and prayers go out to the family. Rest Doc.. Respectfuly, Walter L. Hawkins Brandon L.Hawkins Justin C. Hawkins

My husband, daughter and I went to Dr. Turner for over 25 years. He was always so cheerful, friendly and kind. We appreciated his wonderful dental skills and put ourselves in his hands without reservation. The world has lost an outstanding human being and we extend deepest sympathy to his family, office staff and close friends.

Dr. Turner was not only my children and my dentist, he was my neighbor and very pleasant man who always wore a smile. I remember my office visits were always filled with great conversation on jazz, our love for cooking and Cajun food. A visit that I still speak of to this day is one we were having about New Orleans, crawfish and Princeton High School After Prom. Our after prom theme that year was Mardi Gras and Dr. Turner had just purchased crawfish for himself, he also knew I was in charge of refreshment for AP. When my office visit was complete Dr. Turner gave me a very nice donation to be used toward purchasing crawfish for the students at Princeton High School After Prom. He wanted the students to have a true experience on Nawlins, which some may never to. Sincere condolences to the Turner Family Debra M. Ademuyewo Adekemi and Adeleke Ademuyewo

Dear Robyn and Brian, Our family was so blessed to have your father in our lives both as our dentist but more importantly as a friend. Our best conversations were about the two of you and our boys and how much family meant to him. Chester once told us how much he looked forward to his golf outing with just the two of you each year. Please know that we will miss his humor, laughter and stories we shared while sitting in his chair. Your father was a great man in our eyes and we will carry his memory in our hearts. Sincerely, Chris, Pat, Christopher, Brian and Alan Miller
