Ms. Juanita Allen was born on March 4, 1958, at General Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio to her parents the late A.D. and Rosie Allen, Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Annie Dent and brother Freddy Allen.
Juanita attended Aiken Sr. High School and continued her career path in healthcare where she dedicated her professional life to taking care of the sick and elderly as if they were a part of her own family. She retired from Cedar Village Nursing Home.
Juanita was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory; four daughters Doretha (Dwight), Erica, Sanura (Tim) and Lakeisha (Shawn) and nine grandchildren Montrell, Sierra, Monica, Errol, Kaila, Sabreyiah, Paris, Tamecio, and Amiah. Along with nine precious great grandchildren Laurence, Kamyla, Mason Wason, Deniro, Avianna, Marquell, Qiante, Maddy Patty from Cincinnati and San’Tier . Her sisters Lynn Nora {Benjamin Sr.), Antoinette, brother-in-law Japhus Dent Jr., her nieces Husniyah (Charles) Bradley, and Patrice Nettles; nephew Japhus Dent III Benjamin Nettles, and Rosario Allen; cousins and a host of beloved friends.
Juanita gave her life to Christ at a young age and was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Juanita reinstated her spiritual life and attended Crossroads Church in Oakley.
When she was not working and taking care of others she enjoyed in her spare time shopping, concerts, comedy shows, traveling, and her love of plants. She took pride in her fish and fish tank. Juanita loved sports, especially watching the Cincinnati Bengals (Who Dey). Most of all she enjoyed being around family and friends.
Juanita was admitted into the hospital due to declining health on December 3, 2024, where she continued to fight until her last breath. On Saturday morning January 4, 2025, Juanita answered the call to see Jesus face-to-face. She received her wings to the gates of heaven and received her reward to be in the presence of God!
Juanita Allen will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who love her.
