Beatrice Watson was born August 25, 1926 to
the late James and Sophia Young in Cincinnati,
Ohio. She was raised in the West End. She departed
this life on March 19, 2012 at Hospice. She was preceded
in death by her late husband, Vernon Watson.
She worked at Oak Pavilion Nursing Home and
Children?s Hospital for several years. She accepted
Christ at an early age, and was a Catholic for many
years and attended St. Ann?s Catholic Church and
School.
One of her strongest and utmost desires was to be
baptized. She joined New Prospect Baptist Church
in January, 2011 and was baptized on February 6,
2011 by Pastor Damon Lynch, III.
She attended church every Sunday until her health
failed. She was a very loving, caring and compassionate
person. She loved people; she had a quiet
spirit and loved to praise God! She was a member
of the Roselawn Cell Group and involved in Experiencing
God?s Sunday School Class. She loved cats,
gardening and was passionate about working crossword
puzzles.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two loving
and devoted daughters, Vernice (James) Appling
and Rhonda (Mervin) Bryan of Cincinnati, Ohio;
one brother-in-law, William (Dora) Watson that
preceded her in death; one sister, Bernice Baker;
two sister-in-laws that preceded her in death,
Georgia Thomas and Addie Mae; six grandchildren,
Noel, who preceded her in death, Malinda (James),
