Earl D. Wofford was born April 7, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to Reverend Clark and Johnella King Wofford. Earl accepted Christ at a young age.
Earl attended Gunkle Elementary School in Toledo, OH; Bloom Middle School and Hughes High School in Cincinnati, OH.
Earl worked at Chevrolet Auto Plant in Tonawanda, New York for many years and worked at General Electric Plant in Cincinnati, Ohio. Later he worked in the Real Estate Business. Earl’s last employment was with First Student Transportation until retirement.
Earl was a caring and loving man to his family and friends. He tended to the needs of his parents while they were living in Cincinnati until his dad died and his mother relocated to Buffalo in 1985. Earl was a sports fanatic! He also loved traveling America’s highways and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Clark Jr., and his sisters Hester Wofford, Beatrice Wofford Washington and Louise Harbin. He is survived by his brothers Calvin (Jernice) Wofford of Indianapolis, IN, Ronald Wofford of Buffalo, NY and Samad (Glendora) Muhammad of Port Gibson, MS. His daughters Ronda (Charles) and their children Jonathan and Caleb and their grandchild Jaleah of Atlanta, GA; and Maryum and her son Leroy Vincent Haynes III of Cincinnati, OH and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
