Yolanda Hill, affectionately known as “Lannie” to those who knew her best, peacefully transitioned from this life on June 16, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born to Irma Hill Evans and Lenard Evans, Yolanda’s life was a radiant example of compassion, dedication, and joy.
A true servant at heart, Yolanda devoted her career and her calling to serving youth and young adults. Her work reflected a deep passion for holistic care—nurturing not just minds, but spirits and futures. She believed in the potential of every young person and worked tirelessly to ensure they were seen, heard, and supported.
Yolanda found immense joy in cooking and gathering with loved ones. Her kitchen was always open, her meals made with love, and her home a space filled with laughter, music, and dance. Whether she was swaying to her favorite tunes or hosting a holiday dinner, Yolanda brought warmth and light into every room she entered.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving brother William Hill; her devoted daughters Shameka Hill and Elicia Brown; and her beloved grandchildren Tristen Ingram and Yasmin Rose Flowers, who brought her tremendous pride and joy. A host of extended family and dear friends will carry forward her legacy of love, generosity, and strength.
Yolanda’s vibrant spirit, unwavering faith, and genuine heart will never be forgotten. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may we honor her by living with the same grace and passion she shared so freely.
