Willie Lee Young was born on March 7, 1921 in Darlington, Alabama to the union of Sidney and Katie Young. He departed his life on January 12, 2015.
Willie enjoyed being with his family, especially his great-great-grandchildren that named him Double G. He enjoyed eating his snacks most of all. He also enjoyed walking and sitting on the porch as his past time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Katie Young, three sisters, one brother and also his sons, Charles and Roy.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Roberta Stewart (William Sr.); grandson, William Jr. (Sherry); dedicated great-granddaughter, Navada Morgan (Brandon), Kayla Stewart, Tamara Brookins and Andre Brookins, Sr.; seven great-great-grand- children, Amari Morgan, Amy Morgan, Ava Morgan, Aidan Morgan, Amir Morgan, Andre Brookins, Jr. and Drelon Brookins Sharp; and a host of family and friends.
