Willie Bell Kinard was born December 6, 1924 to loving parents, John Burton and Lillie P. Gray Burton (deceased) in LaGrange, Georgia. She attended Kelly Grammar School. She was married to Jim Kinard who preceded her in death in 1989.
She worked at the Albee Theatre in downtown Cin- cinnati, Ohio for a number of years, along with Maid Services. She traveled occasionally to New York, New York for that service as well.
She was a former member of Saint John A.M.E. Church in the late sixties and Second Trinity Baptist Church around 1966.
She enjoyed baseball and recreational activities. She had a number of health issues. She was the youngest of sister, Corine Davis (deceased) and brother, John Burton, Jr., (deceased).
All who knew her, enjoyed her presence with laughing times and will miss her. During her last two years of residence at Heritage Springs Nursing Home in West Chester, Ohio, her health began to decline more.
She leaves in loving devoted memory: one niece, Janice H. Mazion of West Chester, Ohio; one great nephew, Minister Corey D. Smith; one great niece, Sonya P. Barnes of Cincinnati, Ohio; five great great nieces, Nairobi Smith, Carrington Smith, Mahogany Smith, Saniya Smith and Korrine Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio; three great great nephews, Elijah Smith, Corey Smith, Jr. and Kamari Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Thelma Kinard of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of relatives and friends.
