William Paul Sheek, II was born January 31, 1997 in Middletown, Ohio to William P. Sheek, I and Melissa Paynter. A former Middletown City School student and currently a student attending Marshall High School also in Middletown, passed away December 19, 2014 at the young age of 17.
It’s been a wonderful journey watching Brandon grow to become the young man that he was. I remember taking in the three kids in ’99 and never would I have imagined things ending the way that they have. When he was little, we used to walk everywhere and he used to always tell me he was going to grow up and become a conductor of a train, like the ones that come by on the tracks. Now that he is gone, I wish that I could remind him of this. I can see his smirk now as he says grandma. He always loved life, always on the go; never taking a minute to stop. There was always somewhere he had to be; whether it be walking to see Chelsea or going to play ball. Brandon loved to play basket- ball. Brandon was born January 31, 1997 to Bronson and Missy, though he was my grandson. We’d always been extremely close, mainly from raising him, but he was like my own. He may have been a big pain, but I loved him and would have never traded him for anything. It still doesn’t feel real, him being gone. I keep waiting for his phone call to ask what he should spend his check on or asking me if I need anything. All I need now is him, though that isn’t going to happen; I can take comfort in knowing that he is in a better place. Though he leaves behind myself, Jason and Elyni, as well as other family members, we know that he is with the angels watching us now.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his grandmother, Rosemary Sheek; his parents, William P. Sheek, I (Shari Brown) and Melissa Paynter; one brother, Jason Sheek; one sister, Elyni Paynter; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
