On January 25, 1940, Tommy Lee Stiggers was born to the union of the late Paul Stiggers, Sr. and Arbelia Faison Stiggers, the seventh of 14 children.
He attended Lincoln Heights School and became a member of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Heights, where he committed himself for a life time.
Tommy was a meek, humble man with a stunning sense of humor, an inquiring mind and colorful personality. His jokester’s spirit kept those around him engaged and laughing whole heartedly.
Despite the health problems and the challenges of this life, Tommy was always a friendly spirit with a smile for everyone.
He was known by and inspired us with his dreams of becoming a famous ventriloquist accruing an impressive collection of mannequins, toys and knick-knacks. His art- work graced everything from the walls to paper of all sources and textures.
Tommy Lee leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Arbelia Faison Stiggers; sisters, Bernice Tate, Erie Mae Kesler of Cincinnati, Ohio, Josephine Carr (Eddie), Arbelia Duncan of San Francisco, California and Angelia Stiggers of Lima, Ohio; his brothers, Paul Stiggers, Jr., James Edward Stiggers, Nathaniel Stiggers (Rosalind) and Anthony Ray Stiggers, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
