Tcumps Reese, Jr. II, 63, departed this life on April 14, 2014 at his daughter, Regina’s home in West Chester, Ohio. On August 8, 1950, Tcumps Reese, Jr. II was born to the proud parents, Tcumps and Beatrice Ward-Reese in Montgomery, Alabama. As the first-born, Tcumps loved his mother, Beatrice’s cooking, especially her collard greens and macaroni and cheese. As a youth, Tcumps was a hard worker. He took pride and time in everything he did. Working on his uncle’s farm in Montgomery, Tcumps learned that his hands were very skillful. Moving to Youngstown, Ohio as a child, he was a force to be reckoned with. Growing up on the East-side of Youngstown, Tcumps was known to many as “Tea-cup”. After spending more than 30 years away from his family, he kept his mind educated by completing business school, becoming a unique skilled barber and learned/trained to become a professional boxer, once reunited with his children. Tcumps showered them with his wisdom and love. The love that he showed upon his children was like no other, for Tcumps children were, was, and even in death, his world.
Tcumps love for cars was a known fact. Spending time with his children and grand-children made his life complete. Fishing, playing chess, loving anything that was strawberry flavored made him smile. Tcumps had a one of a
kind smile, pretty white teeth and built body with the smoothest skin. “Junior” was the name his parents and brother called him by. Tcumps will be greatly and dearly missed by his friends, family and especially his children.
Tcumps leaves to cherish his loving memory: four daughters, LaShawn “Neciy” Grissett of Youngstown, Ohio, Regina (Damon) Flint-Walker, Tcquesha (Daniel) Wilmont, both of Cincinnati, Ohio and Avia Walker of Riverdale, Georgia; his only son, Tcumps (Robin) Reese, Jr., III of Cincinnati, Ohio; two step-daughters, Latrina Grissett and Tracy Robinson, both of Youngstown, Ohio; two brothers, Robert Reese of Cleveland Ohio and Athony Ward of Nor-folk, Virginia; two sisters, Bessie Reese of Youngstown, Ohio and Sharon Reese of Penn-sylvania; a sister-in-law, Evie Reese of Colum-bus, Ohio; 27 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; the mothers of his children, Olivia Walker of Cincinnati, Ohio and Vicki Grissett of Youngstown, Ohio; Evelyn Brown, his companion and friend of Dover, Delaware; and a host of other relatives and friends.
