Ruth accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age. At the tender age of 7, she began singing praise until she began her new endeavor……singing with the Angels. She was educated in the Middletown City School System. It was in Middletown that she met and married the love of her life and raised 4 girls. She loved the Lord! She witnessed to everyone she met with voice or song, and many times both. Her home was filled with music and song. As her girls reflect…..”every Saturday morning they would awake with the soulful sounds of their Mother’s voice”. She inspired her girls and they too sang for the Glory of God. Ruth enjoyed visiting the elderly, the sick and shut-in. Her love of baking brought joy to the mouths of many with her “melt in your mouth” homemade rolls and her infamous German Chocolate Cake. Ruth loved the voice of fellowship. She has directed choirs, sang with mass choirs and assembles, taught many students including Sunday School, and her voice has graced many from coast to coast. She was active with community programs and local annual celebrations. She leaves many song books, scores of sheet music, and poems that include her personal touch and memories. Many have been uplifted and inspired by her music filled with LOVE.
Ruth Loved the Lord… She Loved her Family and Friends… and She Loved to wear her Hats!
