Rosa Lee McGuire, age 86, of Peru Indiana passed away on September 6, 2024.
She was born on January 26, 1938 in Cincinnati Ohio to Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Etter. She married James E. McGuire, Sr, who preceded her in death, on September 6, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio in her home.
Rosa lived her life how she wanted to live it and took great pride in raising her three children. She traveled all over the United States with her husband James and her three children since he was in the Air Force.
She met people wherever she went and created close friendships. She enjoyed the opportunities that traveling allowed her to experience in different states and having a diverse group of friends.
Her greatest joy was her grandchildren which she helped raise along with her great granddaughter.
She is survived by two children, James E. McGuire, Jr in Kokomo, Indiana, and Tonya M McGuire (Perry) in Fort Wayne, Indiana; her daughter Latacia Hines who preceded her in death. Grandchildren Darrin Hines in San Diego, California, Krystol Hines in Arlington, Virginia and great granddaughter Naiya Hines in San Diego, California. Two sisters Ada Powell in Fairfield, Ohio and Josephine Etter in Cincinnati, Ohio.
