What a great guy that I only knew for just over a year when I joined the pulmonary rehab group in Kenwood. We talked every Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Got to know him pretty well and his family through our conversations. Once during our cool down period, I overheard him singing the song Shenandoah. What a terrific voice! When I told him that I had heard him, he stopped singing after that - too bad, as I enjoyed his singing. The last I saw him was when he was in the recovery facility on Madison Road just before he was scheduled to go home and he was excited about getting home. I have been waiting for him to return to exercise class. He was proud of his family and how good citizens his kids are - he was proud of each one of them. I knew Bob was retired AirForce and that he had been a college baseball umpire. Seemed to me that my friend Bob live a great life. I miss him already. My sincere condolences to his family. Bob Tharp
