Reva Mae Cummings was born March 27, 1933 in Columbia, Alabama. She was the middle child born to Ressie and Lewis Cummings. Her heavenly Father knew she had completed her work and called her home on November 3, 2014.
Reva received her high school diploma in Alabama and moved to Cincinnati, marrying her high school sweetheart, Robert Grace. To this union, two daughters were born. Later in life, she met and married Jesse H. Jones. He pre- ceded her in death in the year 1990.
Reva accepted Christ as her personal Savior at St. Stephens A.M.E. Church in Columbia, Alabama and Cincinnati, Ohio. She and her mother both attended faithfully, until their health no longer allowed them to.
Reva was a powerful matriarch to her entire family and anyone who knew her, were well aware of the tight ship she ran. Her entire life was devoted to ensuring the safety and well- being of her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two loving daughters, Gwendolyn Pettis and Barbara Grace; three grandchildren, Apral Grace, Robert Williams, Jr. and Aaron Grace, Sr.; three great- grandchildren, who she actively helped raise, Allen Grace, Alvin Grace, Jr. and Stefone Grace; one grandson, Alvin Grace, Sr. preceded her in death in 2013. She also leaves six other great-
grandchildren, two doting brothers, Lamar (Loletha) Cummings and Willie Frazier (Eva) Cummings. Also left to mourn her death are her mother-in-law, Julia (Eddie) Thomas, three sisters-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to Dave and the entire crew at Liberty Dialysis of Norwood.
