Regina Penny Russell was born on September 22, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio to her late parents, Grady Williams Jr. and Mary Lena Williams.
Regina was the oldest of 7 children. She was baptized at the early age of 7 years old at Macedonia Baptist Church. She loved the Lord. Regina graduated from Courter Tech High School where she had a love for sewing. She then went to work for Brendmour Sporting Goods as a seamstress and afterwards she started working for University Hospital where she worked in the sewing room making scrubs.
Regina moved up the ladder and became a Hemodialysis Tech. She stole the hearts of her patients and co-workers; she was always giving somebody something. Regina’s love for sewing, event planning, and photography was her world. Her photography name was “Regina’s Just One Photography”. She retired after 36 years at University Hospital. She wanted everyone to know she enjoyed her life to the fullest and took a trip every year.
During her spare time, she loved gardening. She enjoyed plants and flowers and she definitely had a green thumb. Regina joined New Prospect Baptist Church in January 2020, where she met Gary and they were joined in Holy Matrimony on September 11, 2021.
Shortly after Regina fell ill with cancer and passed on March 21, 2023. Now she doesn’t have to suffer anymore. She can now join her son, Kellen, in Heaven.
She is preceded in death by Reginald Williams and aunt, Margret Wilkinson.
