To the Quick Family, yes we have lost a dear cousin but God has acquired a dear angel. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and on that note that God has told us, we can stand on that rock and know that it is firm and it is true. Praying for you and yours in this time but cousin James Quick is resting and so we can all rest, knowing he is resting in peace. To God be ALL the glory! Love ya! To Mother Quick, Jimmy and Joseph, so sorry for your loss. My mom (Florene Bell) past away in June 2011 and Pastor Quick had the sweetest words to say about her at the funeral. It's something I will never forget. I feel your pain as well, not only for Pastor Quick, but for my mom also. Pastor Quick played a large role in my mom's life, so when he past away a part of my mom past away with him. I know it hurts but be strong because he's in a better place.
