Marian Jewel White (Juicy) was born on March 6, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Willis and Mary Magdalene (Johnson) Smith. She departed this life on January 2, 2025, at Indian Springs of Oakley, Cincinnati, Ohio. Marian professed her faith at an early age at Bethel Baptist Church, Cincinnati, Ohio under the leadership of the late Reverend L.W. Gray.
On December 9, 1946, she married the late Jerome T. White Sr. and to this blessed union of 65 years, two sons were born. She was a devoted wife and an extraordinary mother who dedicated her life giving her all to her children and grandchildren. She shared her wisdom, values, unconditional love, and faith with her entire family. Marian had various hobbies (sewing, crafts, and making drapes). She did this for many stores and private clients. One of her favorite things to do was cooking for her family. The Lord called her home to rest. Her job well done!
She leaves to cherish in her loving memory her sons, Jerome T. White Jr. (Debbie) and Eric Larry White (Angela); grandchildren, Ashley J.M. Cook (Eric), Tyler J. White, and Lindsey M. White; sisters-in-law, Ernestine Toliver, Martha White, Margaret Leather, and Mary White, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Marian was preceded in death by siblings, Hulet Smith, Ulysses Smith, Winniford Stone, Willis Smith, Rufus Smith, George Smith, and Mary E. Smith Harris.
