Loretta Ruffin was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 2, 1953 to Briscoe and Margaret Sims.
Loretta was a 1971 alumni of Mount Notre Dame and she also went to Scarlet Oaks to take up medical billing and coding. Loretta worked at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in 2007 as a Health Unit Coordinator. She enjoyed being around her family. Loretta enjoyed going to the Casino playing her slots. We all knew Loretta liked having fun. Loretta loved going to church to receive the word of Jesus Christ. One thing I know about my Aunt Loretta is she loved life more than anything. Loretta was a soft-hearted, exuberant woman who enriched lives of all her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Curtis Ruffin; and four brothers, Briscoe Sims, Jr., James Sims, Joseph Sims and Nate Sims.
She leaves behind: a mother, Margaret Sims; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
