Lillian Brice was born to Nathaniel Brice, Sr. & Joann Brice (née Austin) on January 12, 1971. Lillian was affectionately known as “Lily” to her family and friends. God called Lily home in the early hours of December 19, 2025.
Lily attended Swifton Primary School in Bond Hill. Lily attended both Crest Hills and Bloom Middle School and then graduated from Taft High School. She attended Gateway Technical College and completed her Associate Degree in Surgical Technology.
Lily had a vast career span over several decades and in a wide variety of professions. Lily worked as a home health aide at Judson Village and Jewish Orthodox nursing homes, as well as a processor at the IRS. Lily earned her commercial driver’s license and was a consummate driver for First Student, Metro and the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK). Most recently, Lily had returned to private duty nursing and was affectionately adored by her sole client, Dr. Horton.
Lily loved spending time with ALL of her family. Whether it was enjoying a meal together or just hanging out listening to good music and being in each other’s presence, Lily was at her happiest when she was with her family. Of all the roles Lily had in life, being a grandmother was probably the one she cherished the most. Lily was the best “MeeMaw” to her beautiful grandkids. Lily made sure she spent as much time as she could with her grands.
Lily was an avid shopper of all things fabulous. From clothes to shoes, to hats and purses, to her signature perfume and her shining and shimmering lip gloss, Lily was always impeccably dressed and looking like a million bucks. Lily stayed camera ready and loved taking selfies and pictures with her family and friends.
Lily had so many unforgettable attributes. Among those that stand out are her radiant beauty, her infectious smile, her sweet loving spirit, her bubbly personality, her little squeaky voice, her strength, her resilience, and her love of her family. Lily’s beautiful smile lit up any room she walked into. Her infectious voice would bring sunshine to any cloudy day. Lily was truly one of a kind and her presence will be missed so very much.
