DR. KIMBERLY ANN JOHNSON, M.D. was born on July
25, 1957, to Charles Johnson, Jr. and Bertha Johnson, in
Cincinnati, Ohio. Kimberly joined the Fifth Christian Church
Disciples of Christ at the age of 12. Kimberly graduated
from Walnut Hills High School in 1975. In 1979, she graduated
from Chatham College in Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Biology. Kimberly joined Alpha Kappa
Alpha Sorority in 1981. In 1983, she graduated from Case
Western Reserve Medical School in Cleveland, receiving a
degree as a Medical Doctor of Internal Medicine.
When in the 4th grade, she made it known that she wanted
to become a doctor. Kimberly was very ambitious, determined
and hard working. She had a successful career as a
physician, working in various areas throughout the city. She
was a loving and giving parent who enjoyed internet
shopping, and late night conversations with McKenzie.
Some of Kimberly ?s hobbies included traveling, playing
tennis, reading, painting, playing the piano and singing.
Dr. Kimberly Ann Johnson passed on April 9, 2012 and is
survived by: her beloved daughter, McKenzie Erin Milton;
parents, Charles and Bertha Johnson; brother, John Austin,
sister, Renee Johnson and brother, Matthew Johnson; as
well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
