Keith Price, born on June 22, 1956, to Wanda Lee Price (deceased) and Vernon Warner Sr., was a man whose life was defined by love and resilience. He is survived by his beloved siblings: Elizabeth “Liz” Price, Tracie Price-Turner, Roberta Williams, Vernon Warner Jr., and Veronica (Toni) Fletcher. He was preceded in death by his brothers Gregory Douglas, Tyrone Warner, Eric Price, Harold Price, and Kevin Price, as well as his sister Marsha Price.
Affectionately known as “KP,” Keith graduated from Aiken High School in 1974 before enlisting in the United States Navy, where he proudly served and traveled the world, gathering a wealth of experiences and stories. Family was everything to KP; he embodied a no-nonsense demeanor that was paired with an unyielding capacity for love. If he loved you, you were family, regardless of blood or DNA. His tough love was a testament to his caring nature.
Keith is survived by his cherished children: Kyisha Price, Kelly Price-Carter, Keith Price Jr., Koby Price, Porsche Dodds, and De’Aris Dodds. As a proud grandfather, he leaves behind a legacy of love through his grandchildren: Robert, Kyrell, RiKaiya, RiKyla, Keymya (deceased), Charlie, Kiara, Keyasia, Kanyla, Keizareia, Keishae, Serenity, Kalise, Kendall, Karim, Deonte, Brielle, DeAris Jr., Ja’Aris, Kiylah, Destin, Ky’Aris, and many others who hold his memory dear.
KP’s warm spirit extended beyond his immediate family, embracing his extended siblings, including Vera “Baby Sis,” Rick Hubbard, and Gary Howard. He also lovingly embraced extended children Viki Giles, Marcia Giles, and Qyume Dowdell. His love created a network of family that was vast and supportive, reflected in his many grandchildren: ShaNee, Shadrae, Rhame, Rhameko, Darrick, Dasa, Antonisha, and Anthony.
Keith will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor, unwavering resilience, and the joy he brought into the lives of all who knew him. He possessed a unique ability to make others laugh and feel genuinely loved. One of his greatest passions, alongside his family, was his deep love for dogs; he had a remarkable affection for every breed imaginable and treated them with the same devotion he reserved for his family.
Rest in paradise, Keith Price. Your spirit will remain with us forever, and your love will continue to shine brightly in our hearts. He was a devoted father, a loving brother, and a dear friend to many. Keith departed this world on April 25, 2025, and he will be profoundly missed by everyone fortunate enough to know him.
