With hearts full of love and memories, we celebrate the life of Keith Dontel Heard Sr., a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. Born on September 18, 1981, to Joyce Heard and the late Dolphus “Dooley” Heard, Keith brought laughter, love, and warmth to every life he touched.
Keith was a man of deep passion and simple joys. Whether casting a line into the water on a peaceful day of fishing or working under the hood of a car, he found happiness in the small things. His love for family was the guiding force of his life — a quiet strength that showed in his actions, his loyalty, and the pride he carried in his children and grandson.
Keith leaves behind a legacy of love through his children, Keith Dontel Heard Jr. (Arianna) and Makayla Nicole Bradbury, and his cherished grandson, Keith Dontel Heard III, who brought him endless joy and pride. His spirit will continue to shine through them, a reminder of the strength and heart he carried.
He is also lovingly remembered by his mother, Joyce Heard; his sisters, Sabrena Heard and Patricia Heard; his late brother Juan Heard; his niece, Kaiela Hoard (Le’Andre); nephew’s, Wyneaus DeJuan Molin; Sir William Laren Heard and his precious great-niece, K’Lynn Miguel Brown. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit, his laughter, and his wisdom.
Among those who will deeply miss him is his Fiancé Rodrena Horton ( Children) whose companionship brought light and comfort to his life.
Keith’s journey on this earth may have ended, but his love, laughter, and legacy live on in every memory shared and every heart he touched. His life was a testament to loyalty, love for family, and quiet resilience.
As we gather to celebrate Keith’s life, let us remember the man who fished with patience, fixed with skill, and loved with his whole heart. He will forever be missed, but never forgotten.
“Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.”
