Joyce Renee Sims was born to the union of the late Joseph and Augusta Harris, on May 21, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.
She grew up in Cincinnati and graduated from Woodward High School. After graduating, she started her 11 year career at 5/3 Bank. She was later united in Holy Matrimony to Charles Sims in 1981. She enjoyed fishing and going to the casino. She had unconditional love for family and friends. Her smile was contagious and would captivate all she encountered. She touched count-less lives in her 53 years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Cedric McCutchen.
She leaves to mourn her passing: aunts, Rose Sofer and Lucy Gaines; uncle, Rev. G. Calvin McCutchen; nieces, Dasha Maiden and Tamika McCutchen; great nieces, Destiny and Danielle Maiden and Ever McCutchen; great nephews, Darnell Maiden and Elijah McCutchen; special friend, Jerry White; and a host of cousins and friends.
