Joyce Ann Grissom

Joyce Grissom was born in Cincinnati on December 27, 1954 to what she often referred to as the best parents anyone could ever want Loretta Frierson (Grissom) and Willie C Grissom

Joyce was baptized at a very early age and attended Sunday School, Joyce graduated Princeton High School in 1974, and continued on to college years later. Joyce was often seen working or volunteering at many nursing facilities, It’s what she loved to do (Help).

Joyce had many interests but she especially loved finding what she called treasures at the thrift stores, and antiquing. Joyce read a lot of books and was the best storyteller, and would often go for walks with her grandchildren and tell stories about the good ole days.

Joyce is survived by a son; Kendall Grissom and daughter; Sherri Grissom, Grandchildren Joyis Jaison, Jasai Grissom. A sister Mary Grissom and three brothers Marcus, Derrick, Reginald Grissom and many nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, eldest son Jerry Grissom,Vickie Grissom(sister) Lillian Grissom (sister), Carol Bannister (sister) Cheryl Grissom (sister), Willie C Grissom Jr (brother)

Joyce passed away on August 15, 2021. Joyce was born in Cincinnati, OH
to Willie Grissom and Loretta Grissom on December 27, 1954.

Public Viewing will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Thompson Hall & Jordan Funeral Home 11400 Winton Road, Forest Park, Ohio 45240. Funeral Service will follow immediately beginning at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow at Landmark Memorial Garden, 1600 Glendale Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45215.
