Joyce A. Mosley

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Joyce Ann Mosley. Born on August 22, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Joyce peacefully transitioned to her eternal home on May 2, 2024. A devoted wife, mother, and friend, Joyce brought love and light into the lives of all who had the honor of knowing her.

Joyce’s journey began in Cincinnati, where she was raised by her loving parents, the late Willie Long Sr. and Dorothy Custard Long. Early in life, she discovered her faith and became a member of Loveland Church, where her commitment to God shone brightly. In 1982, Joyce exchanged vows with her beloved husband, William C. Mosley, in a ceremony filled with love and promises of forever.

With a strong work ethic and a passion for culinary arts, Joyce dedicated many years to serving as a cook in the Cincinnati Schools’ Board of Education. Her culinary talents were surpassed only by her warm, caring nature, as she touched the lives of countless students and colleagues.

Throughout her life, Joyce found strength and solace in her faith community at the Greater Liberty Baptist Church, under the pastoral guidance of the late William C. Mosley. Her faith sustained her through life’s challenges and brought her comfort and peace in times of need.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, William C. Mosley, and their cherished children, Damian O. Willis and Candice J. Mosley. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her daughter, Joyce A. Long, and sons Willie Long Jr. and Donnie K. Long. Joyce’s memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
