Joaquinn “Quinn” Edward Harper was born
April 8, 1962 in Cincinnati, Ohio to John and
Mary Harper. He was called from earth’s labor to
Heaven’s reward on May 10, 2015 at the age of 53
after his battle with paraneoplastic syndrome.
Quinn was raised and educated in Cincinnati,
Ohio; and dedicated at the age of six weeks at St.

their membership to St. Mark A.M.E. Zion Church
and as a young adult, Quinn joined Southern
Baptist Church. He graduated from Aiken High
School in 1981. After graduating from high school,
Quinn worked at Greco’s for many years until he
moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he worked for

went to work for Steelcraft. He is a former member
and avid supporter of the Greater Cincinnati
Choral Union, and also a longtime volunteer at
