Jessie Mae McGoogin

Jessie Mae McGoogin was born October 13, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the oldest daughter of Jesse and Viola Ringer.

She was educated in the Cincinnati Public School system and graduated from Hughes High School in 1972. She had a successful career for which she took great pride in at Proctor & Gamble, and Smucker’s until her retirement after 40 plus years.

From her union with Roy Watkins (deceased) she welcomed her son Donnale and in 1981 she married Larry McGoogin (deceased) and from that union their daughter Ebony was born.

She is preceded in death by her father Jesse Ringer; her grandparents, Maggie and Wilbur Gardenhire; her sister, Ernestine Ringer; and her brother, Dwight Ringer.

Jessie had a great love for football, she was a hardcore Cincinnati Bengals fan, good or bad she stuck with them. She also loved old tv shows, the Halmark channel, flowers and gardening she took great pride in her yard. She loved to travel, spend time with her family and friends and had a passion for debating politics.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her mother Viola Ringer; her son Donnale Ringer; her daughter Ebony McGoogin; her sisters Thelma Ringer, Gwendolyn Jones (Tyrone), and Jennifer Powell; her two brothers Christopher and Jonathan Ringer; 5 grandchildren Aaron Hicks, Demetrius Watkins, Destany Walker, Nikki Robinson, and Donnale Ringer Jr; 1 great grandchild, Messiah Noble; along with a host of family and friends whom she loved dearly.
