Jessie Burns

October 26, 1941 - April 23, 2012

Jessie Mae Burns was born October 26, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late
Howard E. Burns and Mattie Burns.
Jessie was educated in the Cincinnati Public Schools District and graduated from Hughes
High School. Later, she attended University of Cincinnati and received her Associates
Degree in Early Child Development. Jessie was employed and retired from Christ Hospital
after many years of dedicated service.
Jessie departed this life on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 peacefully in her home.
Jessie was preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers, Jerry Duncan,
Marvin Burns and Howard Burns.
Jessie is survived by two daughters Debora (Richard) Ferguson, Diana (Alphonso)
Witcher; one sister Maxine Burns-Kinebrew; an aunt, Edna Jones, an uncle, Vernon Burns;
and a host of nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
Jessie lived for her grandchildren, Quante? Ferguson and fifianceé (Renee),
Quiana (Kurt) Wizzart, Brandon Ferguson, Alisha Burns and fifiancé (Dave); and her great
grandchildren Vi?Ance, A?sanni, Travon, Asia, Davon, Jaylen, Vaelyn, Rea, Kayla, Amirah,
Aminah, Quante Jr., Reese and Kurt Jr.
