Ina Morris Lundy was born on April 25, 1930, to the late Sherman Morris and Maybell Lee Morris. She was called to glory on March 23, 2026.
Ina was the sixth of eleven children. At an early age, Ina accepted the Lord into her life and remained faithful throughout her years. She received her education at Reed Sheet Heights in Anderson, South Carolina. Later in life, Ina relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she met the love of her life, Solomon Lundy. Together they shared 69 years of marriage, building a life rooted in faith, love, and service. She was a devoted mother of 4 children, Sandra, Jonathan, Michael and Gregory Lundy.
Ina had a passion for gardening and was acknowledged by multiple beautifications awards she received from Forest Park Community Association over the years. She was a superb cook, and she was especially known for her southern‑style coconut cake. Her Sunday meals were the envy of the neighborhood! One Sunday following church service, the Lundy family returned home to settle in for a delightful dinner, when she noticed someone had broken into their home. While searching for missing items in the Lundy home, they discovered the only thing the burglar took were 3 scoops of Sister Lundy’s famous macaroni and cheese. Her favorite songs, “He Will Understand” and “Say Well Done,” reflected the depth of her faith and devotion to God.
For 65 years, Ina faithfully served alongside her husband at Now Faith Assembly. Sher served as Mother of the Church for 30 plus years. Her service included teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, and working on the Usher Board. Beyond her church work, Ina was employed at Frisch’s Commissary, where she worked faithfully for 20 years.
Ina was preceded in death by her parents; all her siblings—Prudence Grove, Minnie Lee Brown, Lindsey Morris, Sherman Morris Jr., Elizabeth Morris George, Bertha McLocklin, Ralph Morris, William Morris, Willie May Cox, and Randolph Morris; and her beloved children, Sandra Lundy and Jonathan Lundy.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her sons, Michael Lundy and Gregory Lundy; 5 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren; along with a host of extended family members, friends, and all those whose lives she touched through her kindness, service, and unwavering faith.
