Henry L. Dell

Mr. Henry L. Dell, Sr. was born on June 6, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Claude R. Dell, Sr. (father) and Ida Mae Dell (Mother).
He departed this earthly life peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2014.
He attended Central High School, enjoyed playing football and was a member of the Diving team.
He served in the United States Army, fought in the Vietnam War and afterwards joined the National Guards.
On October 15, 1971, Henry L. Dell and Mildred were united in Holy Matrimony.
He worked for the U.S. Postal Service, where he was employed for 37 years.
In his free time, he enjoyed watching boxing, playing cards and riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by Claude R. Dell, Sr. (father), Ida Mae Dell (mother) and Claude R. Dell, Jr. (brother).
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Mildred Dell; his children, Jackie Ooten, Kim Higgins, Denise Dell, Sherry Dell, Rene Cheeks, Hank Dell, Jr. and Kelly Newman; 16 grand- children and 25 great-grandchildren; a niece, four neph- ews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends; and his beloved dog, Jake.
