Harold Mason, 71, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021.
Harold Mason was born on January 22, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Rosie Bell Pickett. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosie Bell Pickett.
Harold grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and he graduated from Withrow High School in 1968. Immediately after graduation, he began his longtime career with General Motors, and he worked for many years at the Norwood Plant. When the Norwood Plant closed, he transferred to Fort Wayne, Indiana where he continued his years of service with General Motors. He was a dedicated and committed employee that worked tirelessly for over forty-seven years. Harold retired from General Motors on April 1, 2016.
Harold was the proud father of one daughter, Agreta Lee Mason. He always made sure that Agreta was well taken care of and that she received the best education possible. He helped pay Agreta’s tuition for elementary and high school, as well as her college tuition to Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee and Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was proud of his daughter and her accomplishments, and he made sure that she knew just how much he loved and adored her.
Harold leaves to cherish his memory and his daughter, Agreta Lee Mason; his brother, Floyd Lee Pickett; his aunt, Ruby Moore, and a host of relatives and friends. Harold will be forever remembered in the hearts of his family, friends and co-workers.
