Harold and I were good friends from our early years at Brown Chapel AME Church. In our teens, several buddies and I would gather at Harold's house to lift weights with him. He continued in body building and we were elated when he came in fourth at his first Mr. Cincinnati event. We both joined the Air Force where Harold retired from after 20 years of service. We kept in touch over the years, and his love of singing (a great bass) brought him back to the church. I remember that our Allen Temple Male Chorus competed against his Rockdale Baptist Male Chorus at a downtown event. My condolences and prayers go out to Harold's family. Everyone who knew him will say that Harold was a true friend. Don Easley
