Gwen V. Jamison (Davis) was born on May 13, 1955. She was the second eldest born of ten to the union of the late Rev. William G. Sr. and the late Joann Davis, in Cincinnati Ohio.

Gwen attended Withrow High School in 1974. She later attended Southwestern College of Business and graduated in 1991 earning a degree in Business. Gwen worked at International Paper’s for ten years and later worked at General Mills before retiring in 2006.

Gwen accepted Christ at an early age. She later joined Lincoln Heights Baptist Church before moving to Zion Global Ministries under the leadership of Freddie T. Piphus.

Gwen loved, gardening, crocheting, shopping, entertaining, and cooking for her family.

She departed this life on October 28, 2015. She leaves to cherish her loving husband James Jamison Sr, her three children Michael (Tameka) Davis, Monica (Kurt) Billups and Rayshon (Tamara) Gray. Seven stepchildren, James Jamison Jr, Ronicole (Jerry) Hyman, Kim (Anthony) Wright, Angie Jamison, Brandy (Nathan) Magsay, Krystal (Daryl) Sharp and Victoria Jamison. Grandchildren Temara, Kaela, Tonavia, Rayshon Jr. TaeQuan, Kamilah, Malayna, Maleah. Nine siblings, Sharon Callaway (Deceased),William (Donna) Davis, Jr., Eric (Danita) Davis, Debbie Davis, Sandra (Lintonia) Burke, Mark (Lynn) Davis Sr., Paul Davis, Christine Davis and April Davis and a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
