She was a dedicated thoughtful and kind secretary of the dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. She always made one feel welcome. Godspeed to you, Ms. Brown.

Mrs. Brown was first the secretary in the Dean's office and later the secretary of Criminal Justice Department at Alabama State University where I work. Mrs. Brown was a very close family friend whom we shared our garden produce with, every year, including this one, 2020. She will take the zucchinis from the garden and make zucchini bread which she will share with us. She will do likewise with the sweet potatoes, making sweet potato pie and cake. My wife and I will surely miss her as a friend. I will personally miss her as a co-worker because she was always there for me and others with a smile on her face. Rest in perfect peace, my friend. We pray that God will give her husband, children, other family members and friends the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
