Fannie Pauline Hunter was born on November 25, 1933, in Jackson, Georgia, departing this earth on May 27, 2025, in Cincinnati Ohio. Fannie was the fourth child of Eleazer and Birdell Hunter. The family later made their home in West College Hill, Cincinnati, Ohio, where Fannie attended Steele Elementary School. Through perseverance and dedication, she earned a degree from McCall Business School and also attended cosmetology school.
Fannie devoted her career to caring for others, working as a Nurse’s Aide at Good Samaritan Hospital. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she was baptized at Second Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. A. W. Jackson.
Later in life, Fannie became a beloved resident of Glendale Place Nursing Home
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eleazer and Birdell Hunter; her brother, James Hunter; and her sister, Beatrice Mitchell.
Fannie leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted son, Paul Hunter; her loving sisters Alma Murrell, Doris (Edward) Thompson, Shirley Mahone, Irene (James) Ruffin, and Nancy Hunter; her dear Aunt Fayette Hunter; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
