Evaliner Thomas was born May 26, 1920 to Lloyd and
Lucy Mae Thomas in Bethlehem, Georgia.
She departed this earthly life for eternal rest on November
27, 2011. In 1939, Evaliner Thomas and Josh C.
Browning were united in holy matrimony in Bethlehem,
Georgia. To this union, a son was born.
She was a loyal member of the Church of Christ Written
in Heaven, where she served under the leadership of the
late Bishop Willie Bronson and now Bishop Fred J. Bronson
until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and
Lucy Mae Thomas; husband, Josh C. Browning; son,
David Lloyd Browning; six brothers, John, E.L., Nathan,
Jimmie, Robert and Willie; and one sister, Mabel Hutchins.
She leaves to celebrate her life: five grandchildren,
David Lloyd, Jr., Virginia, Vernon, Louis and Eddie; 22
great-grandchildren; one brother, David (Mary) Thomas;
four sisters, Betty (Springfield) Beck and Mary Thomas,
both of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ruby Martin of Las Vegas,
Nevada and Sarah (Linroy) Carroll of Middletown, Ohio;
and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
