



















































Estella Shipman was born on March 12, 1920 to Lilly and Jim Shipman in Brundidge, Alabama and moved to Lincoln Heights, Ohio in 1932.
She gave birth to Lorine Shipman in 1949 and Jimmie Shipman in 1950.
She worked at Carter’s Chicken (now known as KFC) for 57 years. After a long day of work, she enjoyed sitting with her friends at Bar Ace’s and having a Wiedemann’s beer. She loved to dance. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She was always involved and concerned about the general welfare of her family and community. She raised five generations and loved every minute of it. She received a Proclamation from the Village of Lincoln Heights on her 95th birthday.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Randall, Eull, A.J., J.T., Will, Eullamae, Bell, Eunice, and a grandson, Cash Antonio Shipman.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Lorine Shipman; son, Jimmie Shipman; grandchildren, Cheryl, Kevin “K-City”, Terrance “Pookie”, Yolanda “Pumkin”, Joseph “Darnell” and Tiffany; 21 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, neph- ews, other relatives and many friends.
