Mr. Erick “EC. Boogie” Johnson was born in Hamilton Ohio at Fort Hamilton Hospital on October 29, 1984, to the late Clarence Johnson Jr. and Sandra Collins. He was the oldest of seven children: four sisters and two brothers. Since a child Erick had an undeniable entrepreneurial spirit; he had a love for money, music, sports, and movies. He was known to make a way out of no way; when life threw him lemons he made lemonade. Erick always had a great sense of humor, often in his own world referring to himself as the CEO of many companies and was well connected if you needed anything.
He was a family man and he loved his wife, who was his world; he also loved his brothers and sisters and although he didn’t have kids of his own he loved taking care of his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. Mr. Johnson was a very prideful and private man.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents Sandra Collins and Clarence Johnson Jr.; sisters, Ericka Collins and Elaysha Collins; grandparents, Donald Darnell Collins and Lou Lou Collins, Daisy Hayes and Clarence Johnson Sr.; uncles, Otto Wallace, Bryant Johnson (Bang), and William Johnson Jr. (Petey); aunts, Catherine Johnson, Anitra Johsnon and Lydia Chapman.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Chiquanna Jefferson-Johnson; sisters, Elisabeth Collins and Ellesse Collins; brothers, Eddie Collins, Emarkas Collins, Geoffrey Jester, Jeremy Jester, and Germaine Jester; mother-in-law, Sarah Jefferson-Bell; father-in-law, Anthony Bell Sr.; sisters-in-law, Starneisha Jefferson and Antaniqua Bell; brothers-in-law, Anthony (Gabrielle) Bell Jr. and Antavious Bell; aunts, Cherelle Walton, Betty Jo Wallace, Darhonda Davis, Anna Johnson, Rockell, Angel, Lasonya, Deaira Collins and Donnetta Washington; uncles, Anthony and James Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends including special cousin, William Kennedy.
