He was, depending on the ?situation?, the father, protec-tor, big brother and friend. In the ?Haywood Clan? the older you were, the more responsibility you earned. Eddie was the oldest male of the grandchildren born to Willie and Gertrude Haywood, the patriarch and matriarch respectively. He came from a fun loving family ? the Haywood Family Reunions are classic. The Most High blessed Eddie to be with us for our 50th Family Reunion held August, 2011. He enjoyed himself as always. Eddie received Christ at an early age. He had a great love for fishing and cooking. Eddie was a jack of all trades and master of many. Eddie attended Central High School. Eddie had a ?swag? before he knew what ?swag? was. He stayed ?sharp as a tack?. In Eddie?s day, he was such a charmer and had such a beautiful smile. Although he knew he had ?swag?, he was a down to earth brother who loved and was loved by his family and friends.
