Darnell Kaseem Mooney was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 12, 2001. He was the loving son of Yasmin Abdullah and Afro Darnell Mooney. He departed this life on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
Kaseem graduated from Fairfield High School. He was a self taught forklift driver in which her pursued a career in manufacturing. His passion was music with hopes of one day getting into the music industry. Kaseem loved fashion but more than that he loved his crown. Kaseem had a distinct hairstyle that he was very proud of and wore as his crown, which was fitting for a “king”.
Kaseem was never afraid to speak his mind. He had a great sense of humor and brought laughter and joy to all that he encountered. Kaseem loved the ladies and the ladies loved him.
Kaseem loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed playfighting and playing video games with the boys. He will be missed by everyone. Amongst the many angels waiting for him, he was greeted by his god mother, Remia Thompson.
He will forever be missed by his parents, Yasmin and Darnell (Roxanna); sisters, Darmisha, De’Erra, and Darshane; brother, Kamar; grandparents, Rashad and Gayle Abdullah, Theresa Mooney Gill and Afro Lenzley; aunts, Erin and Aminah Abdullah, Aaliyah (Darnell) Haney, Akira Lenzley, and Sheree (Lashone) Isom; uncles, Malik Abdullah, Cortez and Ricky Mooney, Steven Lanier, and Chase Lenzley.
In addition to the siblings listed above, Kaseem had a close and special relationship with his god sisters and brothers as well as a ton of cousins with whom he was raised with like siblings. He also leaves behind four nieces, three nephews, and a host of family and friends.
