Da'Yahier Graves-Roberts

Da’Yahier Da’Israel Graves-Roberts was born on September 20, 2021 to Richard Graves (Father) and Da’Ja Roberts (Mother) in Cincinnati Ohio. He was the 4th son born of his mother and the 5th child to his father.

He leaves behind 7 siblings; Brothers, Malachi Graves, Da’Trier Roberts, Aaric Dray, Da’Jier Roberts, Da’Vonnie Roberts; Sisters, Micaiah Graves and Aniyah Graves; Paternal Great-Grandmother, Barbara Graves; Maternal Great-Grandmother, Sherald Brown; Grandmother, Darla Roberts (Morris Davidson)and Jeanell Graves (Jessie Wynn); Great-Grandfather, William Brown (Vanessa Brown); Uncles, Rico Graves, Da’Lance Roberts, Lorenzo Graves, Jamal Goodwin, Adrian Graves, Marion Graves, Da’Metray Roberts, Douglas Roberts, Tereza Graves; Aunts, Kala Graves, Radence Graves; God Mother’s, Alexis Anderson and Deaisa Harris; God Father, Eric Anderson and a host of Great Aunts and Uncles, Cousins and other Loved ones.

Da’Yahier came in this world with his eyes wide open and focused. Minutes into his life he was reaching for his dads phone. Within hours of birth he latched onto his mother. That wasn’t enough so a bottle was needed as well.

He was made perfect as an angel. He had gray eyes that pierced through you as he looked at or should I say looked into you. He also had one dimple on the left side of his face. Which is where his mother came up with the nickname Dimple Wimple. His dad’s nickname for him came from his name, Da’Yahier which was “Yah Yah”.

His name was derived from a spiritual standpoint. The meaning of Da’Yahier is Heir of Light and Heir of Yahweh. Israel consist of his mother carrying out Da’Israel with all her children.

Israel in Exodus 4:22 says “Israel is my son, My firstborn. The nation of Israel is called God’s firstborn son. He favored Israel.

Israel in Genesis 32:18 was the name given to Jacob by God. Israel means having power with God or God’s fighter. His name was powerful and so was his short lived life. He came for an important purpose. And fulfilled it before sin got a hold of him.

His life & death will be mourned but also celebrated. We rejoice and give praise to the most high. Comforted knowing he is with the almighty. Hearts and minds are at ease knowing The Creator and Author of Life favored Da’Yahier Da’Israel. So many memories created and so much loved shared for 19 memorable days. The memories and love will last forever!
