To my Dearest Aunt Clarine I want to first of all Thank God for you because you have been that Special Aunt, Friend and Lovely person that I will always cherish for the rest of my life. When I was three years old I can remember as if it was yesterday the places you and Uncle Tommy took me, all the toys and clothes you bought me and the love and kindness you both gave to me. For over 60 years we have kept in touch with each other every year and we shared many wonderful conversations as we have gone way way back. I recall a little girl from Columbus Ohio that experienced things and places that a child would never do or see at my age. The trips shopping, the horse races, the ride down the river on the big steamboat with the big paddle on the back, teaching me how to take on responsibility, the trips to the Fair, the dogs races, trips to Atlanta Georgia and way further down south to Hogansville Georgia what memories. One thing my dear that I will always love you for is showing me how to be a Lady. Aunt Clarine you were always a Fancy Dresser and I also admired Your Love and Faith in God as we went to church on Sundays. A couple of months ago when I came to visit at 9:00 a.m. we laughed and talked to 1:00 in the morning as I spent the night with you I think you shared your life history with me and the things we talked about, my, my, my how amazing. I miss you so much and I Thank God for you. I really loved every time we talked before you would hang up you would say: Honey I don't worry about a thing because My God takes care of me. You also would always mention Uncle Tommy no matter what we talked about and I know you loved that man, you both were a blessed and loving couple. Please tell him I send my love, and I can imagine the reunion you both are having glory, glory. Your niece Punkin the name you gave me over 60 years ago..

Jimmie Moreland III (great nephew) left a message on April 23, 2015:
To my beloved Aunt Clarine, I have many fond memories of you. Some are the twenty years that you and Uncle Tommy came to Columbus each summer to take me, Princess and sometimes June to the Ohio State Fair. Also the time I came as a young adult to help with Uncle Tommy in 1988. Our family trip to Atlanta to spend time with Aunt Bea, of whom you referred to as sister :relaxed:. Most of all I will cherish my memories of you, kindhearted, patient, and loving. I thank God for you and for allowing me to share part of your life with me. I will keep you close at heart and remember you fondly, What a legacy you have amassed, being a kind, loving and genuine lady who was dedicated to her faith and love of family done with style and in grace for 97 years. Love Always your great nephew, Jimmie Moreland III and family
