Benjamin Garrison lived a life defined by simple joys, deep connections , and a heart full of warmth. Born on March 29, 1970, Benjamin brought light and love into the lives of all who knew him. His spirit was gentle, his smile unforgettable, and his love for life’s little pleasures truly inspiring.
Benjamin had a special fondness for family vacations to Gatlinburg—those trips were a highlight of his life, filled with laughter, scenic views, and treasured memories shared with those he loved most. While he was happiest at home in his own space, surrounded by familiar comforts, he also deeply cherished his friendships. Though the Day Program wasn’t always his favorite place to go, he held a genuine affection for the friends he made there, and those bonds brought him much joy.
Music brought Benjamin peace and excitement—his favorite song (Cause I Love You) often soundtracked his days, and he found comfort and delight in every note. His family sang this song to him every morning. Dining out and shopping for his beloved toys were among his favorite pastimes. Those shopping trips weren’t just errands; they were events, full of excitement and anticipation, and they brought him happiness that lit up his entire being.
Benjamin’s life was a beautiful reminder that joy can be found in everyday moments. He was a man who loved deeply and quietly, in ways that left lasting imprints on the hearts of his family and friends. He didn’t need to say much—his presence said it all. Kind, content, and devoted to the things and people he loved, Benjamin made the world better simply by being himself.
He will be dearly missed, but forever remembered—with every song played, every meal shared, every toy picked up with joy.
Rest peacefully, Benjamin. Your journey was one of love.
