Mrs. Barbara Connell Walker Marshall was born to the
late Lembrick G. and Conyers E. Walker on September 28,
1935, in Jesup, Georgia, born the first of 10.
Barbara confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized
at the Bennett Union Baptist Church in Jesup, Georgia.
She was educated in the Wayne County School System.
She played basketball and was a cheerleader. On July 23,
1953, she married Clamion M. Marshall, and to this union
they had six children. After moving to Cincinnati, she
joined Mount Olive Baptist Church where she remained in
service until her home going. Her love for God and God?s
house was always first on her mind and heart. She was a
true Missionary, always helping others in their time of need.
She could tell you what was wrong and love you in the
same sentence. After raising her children, she became an
Eastern Star in the Order of Eastern (Golden Link #35).
